Roles & Responsibilities:

• Providing corporate legal and regulatory support to Insilico’s UAE site, including drafting and reviewing day-to-day contracts, documents, etc.
• Monitoring and updating the management team on relevant legal and regulatory developments in UAE, especially in the field of AI and drug discovery, helping establish relevant SOPs and assisting with site operation.
• Providing legal support to the group’s transaction activities from the UAE end.
• Instructing and supervising external counsel providing advice or services in connection with the above.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of practicing experience from noted law firms and leading companies. General corporate experience supporting AI, big pharma or biotech is necessary (labor law, contract review, operation matters, etc.), while IP and transaction experience will be a plus.
• LLB degree from an accredited law school is required. Further LLM degrees will be a plus.
• Strong academic record.
• UAE bar holder required. Overseas qualifications will be a plus.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills and legal writing abilities (especially in English).
• A quick learner with excellent communication skills, self-motivation and common sense.
• Experience in the AI/TMT or life sciences industry is a must.
• Experience in working with international colleagues is a plus.
